CBLiveTracker: codeBeamer meets Twitter
And now for something completely different! We are glad to introduce you CBLiveTracker, an amazingly creative project from Armin Müller of ScopeSET.
CBLiveTracker is a dead simple integration solution between codeBeamer, our integrated ALM software (that is also a great project management tool), and Twitter, the world's most popular micro blogging service. It makes codeBeamer tasks, automatic worklogs and status update tweets available right on your desktop. Here is the summary of the project in five sentences:
With CBLiveTracker, you can pick any task from a CodeBeamer site, set it to your individual in-progress status and press the start button. The tool will update the CodeBeamer task, take the start time and send a twitter message telling everyone who's interested that you started working on something.
When you finish the task, you simply set the done status and press the stop button. Status and time-spent will be updated in CodeBeamer and another tweet will be sent. That's pretty much it.
You can figure out more details from the original blog post Timetracking, Twitter and CodeBeamer. CBLiveTracker is available as free download from its JavaForge page. Great job, Armin!

Can this feature also used to publish that status only in intranet? on the frontpage of codebeamer for example? Like a "Status-plugin" where you can see what your followers are doing, got a group/project-timeline?
But nice to know that there is a new feature in codebeamer! great job Armin!
