one of our presentations at Subconf:

Titel: Usage of embedded Wiki in a Subversion Based Collaboration Platform (codeBeamer)

Abstract:

Wikis are more and more accepted within business use. Especially in the software development area they are very helpful by supporting software projects. But not only single (stand alone) project wiki's are useful. The power of wikis envolves more and more for example by using wikis embedded in traditional tools for software development like issue tracker, document management, analyzes of source code and reporting of issues etc.

The demo shows how Wiki (here JSP Wiki) is highly integrated (embedded) in a complete collaboration development platform (codeBeamer).

It shows how such a Enterprise Wiki is used to support the complete application life cycle management for example by building interwikilinks between different project artifacts like documents, issue tracking systems (for requirements, bugs, change requests, feature, task etc.), forums, project specific wiki sides and how wiki is used for descriptions of all these artifacts.

Also it will be shown how an embedded wiki is used for project purposes like

* knowledge base & project glossary
* project dashboard and reporting via plugins
* project tracking with traceability management (from a requirement down to source code in a subversion repository and vice versa)
* Document management plugins
* Source code analysis via plugins
